Clams have a sweet, light flavor, but this is more evident in the smaller, more tender little necks. Simply steam until they pop completely open. Little necks have almost a buttery flavor. 

Middleneck Clams (1 dozen)

  • To prepare steamed clams lightly scrub and rinse clams with clean water. Add 1/2 cup of water to a steamer pot and bring to a boil.
